Duties of the Head Priest
The Head Priest serves as the spiritual head of the Clergy and chairs the Ecclesiastical Council of the Church. He presides over spiritual meetings and acts as the spokesperson of the Clergy. The Head Priest also serves as a voting member of the Board of Trustees and advises the Board on religious matters of the Church. The designation of Head Priest does not affect the hierarchy of the Clergy in accordance with the faith, worship, creed, and tradition of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church.
The Head Priest works in coordination with the Clergy and the Board of Trustees to ensure that the spiritual life, teachings, and religious services of the Church are conducted in accordance with the traditions of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church and supports the mission and spiritual objectives of the Parish.
የዋና ካህኑ ተግባርና ኃላፊነት
ዋና ካህኑ የካህናት መንፈሳዊ መሪ ሆነው ያገለግላሉ፤ የቤተ ክርስቲያኗንም መንፈሳዊ ምክር ቤት ይመራሉ። መንፈሳዊ ስብሰባዎችን ይመራሉ፣ እንዲሁም የካህናቱ ቃል አቀባይ ሆነው ይሠራሉ።
ዋና ካህኑ የማይሰጡ የአደራ ቦርድ አባል ሲሆኑ፣ ቦርዱን በቤተ ክርስቲያኗ ሃይማኖታዊና መንፈሳዊ ጉዳዮች ያማክራሉ። የዋና ካህንነት ሹመት፣ በኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተ ክርስቲያን እምነት፣ አምልኮ፣ ዶግማና ትውፊት መሠረት የተደነገገውን የካህናት ሥርዓተ ማዕረግ አይለውጥም።
ዋና ካህኑ የቤተ ክርስቲያኗ መንፈሳዊ ሕይወት፣ ትምህርትና ሃይማኖታዊ አገልግሎቶች በኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ሥርዓትና ትውፊት መሠረት እንዲከናወኑ ከካህናቱና ከአደራ ቦርዱ ጋር በመተባበር ይሠራሉ። እንዲሁም የሰበካውን ተልእኮና መንፈሳዊ ዓላማዎች ይደግፋሉ።
Board of Trustees
The duties and responsibilities of the Board of Trustees are defined in the Bylaws of the Church. The General Assembly of parish members is the supreme authority of the Church, and the Board of Trustees represents the General Assembly in administering the affairs of the Church and implementing its decisions.
The Church shall have nine (9) Trustees, collectively known as the Board of Trustees. The number may be changed only through amendment of the Bylaws.
The Board of Trustees is responsible for conducting the activities and affairs of the Church in accordance with the Bylaws and the laws governing nonprofit religious organizations.
የአደራ ቦርድ
የአደራ ቦርዱ ተግባርና ኃላፊነት በቤተ ክርስቲያኗ መተዳደሪያ ደንብ የተወሰነ ነው። የሰበካ አባላት ጠቅላላ ጉባኤ የቤተ ክርስቲያኗ የበላይ ሥልጣን ሲሆን፣ የአደራ ቦርዱ ጠቅላላ ጉባኤውን በመወከል የቤተ ክርስቲያኗን አስተዳደራዊ ጉዳዮች ያከናውናል፣ የጉባኤውንም ውሳኔዎች ተግባራዊ ያደርጋል።
ቤተ ክርስቲያኗ በአጠቃላይ “የአደራ ቦርድ” ተብለው የሚጠሩ ዘጠኝ (9) ባለአደራዎች ይኖሯታል። ይህ ቁጥር ሊለወጥ የሚችለው የቤተ ክርስቲያኗ መተዳደሪያ ደንብ ሲሻሻል ብቻ ነው።
የአደራ ቦርዱ የቤተ ክርስቲያኗን ተግባራትና አስተዳደራዊ ጉዳዮች በመተዳደሪያ ደንቡና በበጎ አድራጎት ሃይማኖታዊ ድርጅቶች ላይ በሚሠሩ ሕጎች መሠረት የማከናወን ኃላፊነት አለበት።
Duties of the Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is responsible for implementing all resolutions adopted by the General Assembly, safeguarding and protecting all Church property and legal rights, and administering the affairs of the Parish while supporting the clergy in fulfilling the spiritual mission of the Church.
The Board manages Church finances, including the collection of revenues, payment of expenses, and preparation of financial reports.
It appoints and supervises clergy, employees, and agents, maintains all Church records and documents, oversees functional committees, accepts contributions and donations for the development of the Church, and establishes membership and service fees as appropriate.
የአደራ ቦርዱ ተግባርና ኃላፊነት
የአደራ ቦርዱ በጠቅላላ ጉባኤው የጸደቁ ውሳኔዎችን በሙሉ ተግባራዊ የማድረግ፣ የቤተ ክርስቲያኗን ንብረትና ሕጋዊ መብቶች የመጠበቅና የመከላከል፣ እንዲሁም ካህናቱ የቤተ ክርስቲያኗን መንፈሳዊ ተልእኮ እንዲፈጽሙ በመደገፍ የሰበካውን ጉዳዮች የማስተዳደር ኃላፊነት አለበት።
ቦርዱ የቤተ ክርስቲያኗን የገንዘብ አስተዳደር ይመራል። ይህም ገቢዎችን መሰብሰብ፣ ወጪዎችን መክፈልና የፋይናንስ ሪፖርቶችን ማዘጋጀትን ያካትታል።
በተጨማሪም ካህናትን፣ ሠራተኞችንና ወኪሎችን ይሾማል፣ ይቆጣጠራል፤ የቤተ ክርስቲያኗን መዛግብትና ሰነዶች ይይዛል፤ የተለያዩ የሥራ ኮሚቴዎችን ይቆጣጠራል፤ ለቤተ ክርስቲያኗ ልማት የሚደረጉ መዋጮዎችንና ስጦታዎችን ይቀበላል፤ እንዲሁም እንደአስፈላጊነቱ የአባልነትና የአገልግሎት ክፍያዎችን ይወስናል።
