Debre Genet Amanuel Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church was established on June 20th, 2007 under the New York City and Surroundings Archdiocese of The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church. It is the first Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church in the state of New Jersey. The main objectives of our church are to 1) live by the Word of God and 2) honor each other and His kingdom. The church provides services such as baptisms, marriages, spiritual advice, and Sunday schools.

The Church serves the Ethiopian Orthodox community of New Jersey through the Divine Liturgy, spiritual education, youth programs, and community fellowship. Founded in the spirit of the ancient Ethiopian Orthodox faith, our church is a place of prayer, healing, and unity — where every soul is welcomed.

ደብረ ገነት አማኑኤል የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተ ክርስቲያን በኒውዮርክ ከተማና አካባቢው ጠቅላይ ቤተ ክህነት ሥር ሰኔ 11 ቀን 2007 ዓ.ም. በኒው ጀርሲ ግዛት የመጀመሪያዋ የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ ቤተ ክርስቲያን ናት። የቤተ ክርስቲያናችን ዋና ዓላማዎች 1) በእግዚአብሔር ቃል መኖር እና 2) እርስ በርሳችንና መንግሥቱን ማክበር ናቸው። ቤተ ክርስቲያን እንደ ጥምቀት፣ ጋብቻ፣ መንፈሳዊ ምክር እና ሰንበት ትምህርት ቤቶች ያሉ አገልግሎቶችን ትሰጣለች።

ቤተክርስቲያኑ የኒው ጀርሲውን የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ማህበረሰብ በመለኮታዊ ቅዳሴ፣ በመንፈሳዊ ትምህርት፣ በወጣቶች ፕሮግራሞች እና በማህበረሰብ ህብረት ታገለግላለች። በጥንቷ የኢትዮጵያ ኦርቶዶክስ ተዋሕዶ እምነት መንፈስ የተመሰረተች ቤተ ክርስቲያናችን የጸሎት፣ የፈውስና የአንድነት ቦታ ናት – ነፍስ ሁሉ የምትቀበልባት።
