Debre Genet Amanuel Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church is a spiritual home for the Ethiopian Orthodox community in New Jersey. We are rooted in the ancient traditions of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, one of the oldest Christian denominations in the world.

Our church community gathers for the Divine Liturgy every Sunday from 6:00 AM to 11:00 AM, and we hold our Friday Youth Program every Friday evening for prayer, teaching, and fellowship. We invite all members of the community to join us in worship and spiritual growth.

Whether you are a longtime member of the faith or are learning about Ethiopian Orthodox Christianity for the first time, you are welcome here. Our church is a place of prayer, unity, and service — where faith is lived out through worship, community care, and education.
